Notes

Accuracy

While this date converter does account for leap seconds, it may not be perfectly accurate down to the exact second/prorahn when converting dates back and forth, especially over large time scales.

The distant past

This converter outputs Gregorian dates under all circumstances. However, the Gregorian calendar was only officially adopted for the first time in 1582, and its adoption was staggered throughout the world, with some countries not adopting it until the early 20th century. As such, be cautious when using this converter to "line up" an historical event with something that happened in the Cavern. Entering Julian calendar dates for ancient history will not provide the correct D'ni date, and you will receive Proleptic Gregorian dates when converting the D'ni date for almost any event that took place before Myst.
