Events

  • 2500 DE: Height of the D'ni's era of "religious confusion".
  • 2500 DE: King Naygen proposes the construction of a new Guild Chamber, to be built atop the Tomb of the Great King.
  • 2502 DE: Construction begins on the new Guild Chamber.
  • 2504 DE: The new Guild Chamber is completed.
  • 2533 DE: Hinash is crowned King of D'ni.
  • 2535 DE: The first play produced by the new Guild of Artists, "Our Great King", is first performed.
  • 2577 DE: Construction of a new facility for the Guild of Miners begins, at the order of King Hinash.
  • 2580 DE: The new Guild of Miners facility is completed. It is the first building to be constructed using the "extrusion" technology first developed by the Guild in 2488 DE.
  • 2709 DE: King Hinash marries a woman of non-D'ni blood after the death of his first wife, ushering in a new wave of tolerance for Age-dwellers and their cultures.
  • 2779 DE: Needrah is crowned King of D'ni.
  • 2807 DE: King Needrah commissions a monument commemorating the discovery of the Books of Birenni.
  • 2916 DE: The Guild of Mechanists announces new industrial extrusion techniques, enabling new types of building construction.
  • 3000 DE: Rakeri is crowned King of D'ni.
  • 3065 DE: Tehvahr began to gain influence as an evangelist for more traditional religious practices.
  • 3081 DE: King Rakeri debates Tehvahr and fares poorly. He later invited the evangelist to become his main prophet.
  • 3092 DE: Handheld extrusion technology is unveiled.
  • 3100 DE: As a result of Tehvahr and King Rakeri's positions, religious sects have all but disappeared from D'ni culture.
  • 3123 DE: The Great Temple is almost completely rebuilt, taking advantage of recent advances in extrusion construction. The great painter Fahlee contributed his talents to the reconstruction as well.
