Upon his death in 1996, Elias Zandi bequeathed his fortune to form the D'ni Restoration Foundation and as a source of funding for further restoration of D'ni.[1]
Dr. Watson, left as the sole chairman of the DRF, refounded it as the D'ni Restoration Council one year later.
