Eddie is a beach ball that can be found rolling around in several Bevin-style neighborhoods. It has often been rumored and joked about that Eddie has "special abilities" or some strange impact on the restoration effort, despite the obvious absurdity of such claims. Eddie got its name from Dr. Patrick Greer, one of the initial Authorized Explorers, when he saw several Restoration engineers kicking it around in Bevin.
