The Fall of D'ni Memorial is a planned memorial to remember the victims of the Fall of D'ni. It's a part of the current explorer restoration effort.
It was previously planned to erect the memorial at King Lookout. But the location has been moved to Sutherland Point.
Fall of D'ni Memorial-specific restoration phases
- Making a concept for the memorial.
- Measure and calculate the location and dimensions for the memorial.
- Select materials and roughly process the monument.
- Precision work, quads and bronze plates for the memorial. (Current phase since November 12, 2021.)
- (a) Installation of the memorial with benches, lighting, vases and a book for the summary of the Event.
(b) Unveiling the memorial.
