Garohevtee or gahrohevtee (garohevtE)—literally "great words"—are a special set of written words with unique symbols, which are used in regestoy to describe the contents, properties, and patterns of an Age. The concepts which they represent do not have direct English equivalents, and have been described[1] as "something beyond labels and ideas[, s]omething which is a synthesis of the two."

Garohertee[edit]

Myst: The Book of Atrus makes several references to "garo-hertee" in the context of regestoy. This is likely a typo; "her" is the D'ni word for "number" and "great numbers" wouldn't make sense in this context.
