Jura was a Guild Master in the Guild of Healers whom Ti'ana called to help tend to the ailing infant Gehn. He diagnosed Gehn's illness, but was hesitant to prescribe a remedy for the condition, because the child was not fully D'ni. He held a sense of racial pride that caused him to dismiss Gehn as an unnatural "hybrid."
For his callous attitude in supposing that her son would be better off dead, Ti'ana forced him from the house.
