The '''Kerath'en District''', originally named [[Shamathen District|Shamathen]], was the lowest district of [[Ae'gura]], bordering on the lake. People who worked the ferries between Ae'gura, the [[City Proper]], and the outlying islands lived here, as did the boat repairers. It is also where [[A'gaeris]] lived after he was cast out of the [[Guild of Writers]].
