Nick White was a Restoration Engineer[a] as a D'ni translator for the DRC, who translated documents from D'ni into English. He started translating documents from Teledahn straight after learning D'ni in 1998. During 2000, he also translated some documents from Rebek before being pulled off it.
During the Third Restoration, he was known as something of a flirt among the female population of the Cavern, and was called a "skirt chaser" at times. He was known to leak information to explorers, and was known to associate with Sydney Austin, the leader of an anti-DRC group. These acts eventually lead to him being fired from his position within the DRC. Shortly after his firing, he went with Douglas Sharper to aid in hunting an unknown predator outside the Negilahn pod. He would later return to the Cavern shortly after to help aid in the search for Willow Engberg and her friend Rosette.
