Tarkuk was a fisherman on Age 37, together with his son Birili. They took Atrus out in their boat, but Atrus insisted that they go beyond the Mist Wall that they had worshiped before Gehn's arrival and that they still feared. When they returned, they believed that they were fated to die because of this transgression. It is unknown what happened to Tarkuk afterwards, as Gehn meddled with the Descriptive Book enough to shift the link to another Age, then destroyed the Book.
