Tongue fern

The tongue fern can be found in the Lower Deadwood Ridge and Forest regions of Edanna. The single broad leaf of this plant reacts to light emitted by its light-producing spore by unfurling. The result is a strong natural bridge which can be used to access otherwise unreachable areas of the tree.
