Found in Eder Kemo

The troom—sometimes called a "brain pod"—is a tall, tree-like plant found in Eder Kemo. Specimens from the Age range from roughly eight to 15 feet in height.

Trooms produce a soft trilling sound as the wind blows through them. They are quite distinctive, with thin stalk-like trunks and large blue-and-red bulbs at the top. The shape and patterning of these bulbs somewhat resembles the shape and pattern of folds in human brain tissue, leading to their "brain pod" nickname among some explorers.

Chirtee'tahmtee can be found in swarms near Eder Kemo's troom garden when the weather is fair. It is speculated that the fireflies feed on the trooms somehow, but the relationship has not been proven.
