The zeftyr is a mammalian herbivore, who munches on the various grasses and shrubs of the Haven Swamp and is mainly hunted by camoudiles. They do not seem to appear very bright and Achenar comments on this specifically in the zeftyr totem's Amulet memory. Normally, a zeftyr is cautious and graceful in its movements, but is slow to react, despite how fast it is able to run.
