====Determine the Outcome====

Now we get down to the nitty-gritty and determine the outcome of the action.

# The actor rolls the Fate dice, adds up the pluses and subtracts the minuses.
# The actor adds the value of the chosen skill.
# The actor totals up any applicable stunts and adds that.
# The opposition total is subtracted from the actor’s total.

If the final result is...
:...negative, the action fumbles.
:...zero, the action ties.
:...positive and the result is 1 or 2, the action succeeds.
:...positive and the result is 3 or greater, the action excels.
