[[Yeesha]] has used the Fissure to connect [[Relto]] back to Earth in a similar fashion. As explorers complete her first [[Yeesha's_Journeys#First_Journey|Journey]], the ground between the four linking pedestals on Relto begins to crack and crumble. When all four [[bahro pillar]]s are transferred to [[D'ni]], the ground splits open, revealing the Star Fissure below. Notably, the shape of this fissure is identical to the one that originally appeared in Riven.

It is also speculated that the "blue" [[bahro cave]]s found throughout Yeesha's Journeys somehow exist ''within'' the Star Fissure. Explorers have observed that their Relto Books do not function there, and the void beneath the cave's exit bears a striking resemblance to the void found within the Star Fissure.
