In 2010, the DRC [[Reference:DRC Discussions forum/Activity in the cavern?|discovered]] that Dr. Watson had found that explorers were starting to sneak their way back into D'ni. Explorers have been cautioned that the DRC is not currently active in the cavern, as was the case from 2004 to 2006.

In 2016, the DRC website was taken offline, and the domain redirected to Cyan's official website. For now, it appears that the DRC have abandoned their efforts for good.

Since 2020, the DRC has only a consulting role for assuring the safety and integrity of any and all upcoming Ages and have complete faith in the current teams in the [[Fourth Restoration of D'ni|new restoration]].<ref>DRC.
