Holidays or Events?

Some of the 'holidays' listed here aren't actually listed under the holidays section of the old Cyan webpage, (e.g. The Day of the Circle,) which raises the question of whether these really are recurrent holidays or whether they were actually one-off events. If they were events then they don't really belong here and should probably be moved to a different page.

I went ahead and deleted the Fall of D'ni from the list. There is a reference in the Ri'neref notebook to the "first Day of the Circle", but that's the only hint I can find that it might have been repeated. Talashar (talk) 01:42, 2 August 2024 (UTC)

Removing The Fall certainly makes sense. (I don't think the D'ni would be celebrating that, even if they were still around to celebrate it.)

I see where you mean about the Day of the Circle. Footnote 'g'. (I frequently forget to check the footnotes of these references.) I think that's a hint that it was repeated, but even if it's something they did more than once I question whether it's a 'holiday' or something more like a G7 Summit. The word 'celebration' is used, but I'm uncertain as to whether that's intended to imply that it was a holiday, or whether perhaps it was just the first occurance that was a celebration. I'd suggest moving it into a separate article, but we know so little about it that it would probably be the tiniest 'stub' in the enitre wiki.

Perhaps the best compromise for now would be to partition the list into 'Holidays' and 'Possible Holidays'?
Or to mark the two remaining ambiguous 'holidays' as {{contested}}?
