Jerahl (jeral[contested]) was a Guild Master in the Guild of Caterers, and was the cook assigned to the expedition to the surface led by the Guild of Surveyors in the mid-9330s DE.
Jerahl trained for "close on twenty years" in geology, specializing in stress mechanics, but later chose to join the Guild of Caterers. He became good friends with young Aitrus during the expedition to the surface. He also became a member of the D'ni Guild Council in later years. He was one of those present at the emergency meeting following the bombing of the Ink Works during Veovis's acts of terrorism shortly before the fall of D'ni.
