The uncertainty of the hahr of Me'erta's death[edit source]
Going by the sources (the notebooks for King Me'erta and his successor King Gan), it's actually unclear whether Gan died in 2015 or 2014. Gan "took the throne" in 2015, but Me'erta was said to have died 15 years after his mother's 1999 book heist (which resulted in her death), which should imply 2014.
It's entirely possible that the King Me'erta source is imprecise and he did die in 2015 rather than 2014, but it's also possible that he died toward the end of 2014 and Gan didn't take the throne until the start of the next year. If one assumes the sources are absolutely correct, then 2014 should probably be the appropriate date.
