Fihar was a Guild Master of the Guild of Chemists, and a friend of Veovis. He disagreed at first with Veovis' conviction that the surface-dwellers were automatically barbarians because they lacked the moral guidance of the D'ni, but was somewhat persuaded in the course of argument.
