Larson was granted clearance to be part of the Mission to D'ni when a security officer was needed to escort Thomas Maxwell down to the Cavern. On her arrival Colonel Collins put her to work helping Henry and Katja with their research. She also served as a guinea pig for Zarek's presentation on the D'ni art of writing. Her adaptability was such that Gabe would put her in charge of Cavern security when he was suddenly called to the surface.
