The Guild of Ink-Makers was one of the 18 Major Guilds on the Guild Council at the fall of D'ni. They were solely responsible for the creation of the Ink used in the writing of Ages. The formula for this ink was apparently never written down, as Gehn was never able to find it in his efforts to single-handedly rebuild the D'ni empire in his image. It was likely a guild secret that survived for 10,000 years as an oral tradition.
The Ink-Makers operated an ink-works factory in the D'ni city, which was bombed by Veovis and A'gaeris shortly before the fall of D'ni.
