Has anyone seen Phil Henderson? Last time he checked in, he was heading to the Garden Age. When I didn’t see him again on Friday, I assumed he just left early for the weekend. But he hasn’t shown up today, and I cannot reach him on his KI.

Hmmmmmm…
We’ve been monitoring the KI Host Hub and just got a “pickup” locator signal on Henderson in Eder Kemo (the Bevin garden age.)
It’s not a full signal – bit of a mystery actually.
Anyone heading that direction. I’ll keep my eye on the Hub.

I took a quick pass through the Garden but did not see Phil or get any response from him or his KI.
Let me know if you get any more of these “blips”.

It’s gone now. It was sporadic for the last 15 minutes.
I’ll monitor the Host Hub more closely. I’ll post here if I see any more activity.

Vic,
It is very unfortunate that no one was able to make it to the Garden Age to verify this latest signal. I went several times over the weekend, and never saw anything or got any kind of signal from him or his KI.
Keep us posted. If you see the signal again, please stay at the hub and monitor it.
Also, are you sure it is coming from Eder Kemo?

You’re right, Vic. This is frustrating.
I was hoping that your monitoring of the Hub might give us a better fix on his location. Or maybe we would start to see a pattern of when the signal starts/stops.
Next time, if you don’t get a response from someone else, go for it.

One of the authorized explorers made it there, and got a message from Phil.
I don’t know all the details yet. I just wanted to let you know. I’ll post more details when I have them.

Brilliant!
I’ve been monitoring the KI Host Hub and never thought to tune it for other KI identifiers. I could have seen if anyone else linked in.
Anyway, is Phil alright? Should we schedule some kind of meeting to see if he can answer some questions? I am dying to get some information.
I still don’t have a KI signal from him. Is he still wearing it, or is it just malfunctioning?

It’s not quite what you’re thinking, Vic.
Phil contacted one of the authorized explorers who went looking for him in the Eder Kemo during the last signal.
I spoke to the explorer at length last night on Ae’gura to find out the details.
It was a very brief conversation via the KI. Phil told the explorer that he was OK, but that he wasn’t coming back. The explorer tried to ask several questions, but Phil did not provide many answers. He just seemed very excited that he had “found a way”.
The explorer asked Phil to send him a KI photo of his current location, but Phil refused.
Basically, all we know is that Phil somehow managed to get through that door we’ve never been able to open, and he implied that we would find out how, too, one day.
Phil also mentioned that this would be the last signal we got from him.
To me, that can only mean that he’s intentionally disabling his KI. He doesn’t want to be found for some reason.
