On December 2023, on the occasion of "Lexember",[1] Cyan released new D'ni word definitions via X and Facebook. Two sets were released, one for D'ni and one for Rivenese.
D'ni
- pirin, /pɪ.ɾɪn/, n. color[2]
- tildah, /tɪl.dɑ/, v. to suffocate[3]
- mairuh, /mai.rə/, v. to own[4]
- fitay, /fɪ.te/, v. to look[5]
- gol, /gol/, n. arm (body part)[6]
- rahwah, /ɾɑ.wɑ/, adj. meaningful, rich[7]
- borin, /bo.ɾɪn/, adj. tired[8]
- tahs, /tɑs/, v. to muse, to think, to ponder, to meditate[9]
- sheemah, /ʃi.mɑ/, adj. okay, alright[10]
Rivenese
- wuwan, /wu.wɑn/, n.i. cloudy sky[11]
- lopa, /lo.pɑ/, v. to shoot[12]
- srain, /sɾain/, n.i. shadow[13]
- safi, /sɑ.fi/, n.a. song[14]
- rekor, /ɾe.koɾ/, n.i. Linking book[15]
- rauno, /ɾau.no/, adj. 1) strong in sensation (bright, loud, pungent, etc.); 2) proud[16]
- duna, /du.nɑ/, v. 1) to dig; 2) to paddle; to row[17]
