Jakooth was a mythological figure in D'ni religion, who played a similar role to the Devil in Christian theology. He was seen as a corrupting influence, and the D'ni believed that he could possess people and make them his agents. Notably, this claim was leveled against King Me'erta's mother, Jolatha.[1]
Jakooth was also said to control one of the three Ages in the D'ni afterlife: Jakooth's Age.
