Beatrice gets a tour of the Cleft
Race Human
Portrayed by Joanne Fisher

Beatrice Lang's family managed a cattle station in Australia. She went to boarding school in Adelaide, and had to battle family prejudice to go to university. She gained an Arts/Economics BA at Adelaide University, and won a scholarship to Harvard for post-graduate work. Like her colleague Zarek Mazerowski, she was a bit of a prodigy, having been recruited into the Special Projects Unit at a relatively young age.[1]

Early in her career Lang found herself lying to protect an asset, and from that moment on she developed the capacity to compartmentalize feelings of guilt so that she was able to make decisions based solely on the greater good.
