Pluralisation of Species Names[edit source]
While it's clear that the name of the Age shouldn't be pluralised, it's less clear as to whether it makes sense to pluralise the name of the species. It may well depend on how specific the species name is or whether there's some specific D'ni convention for species names, e.g. in English it makes sense to pluralise 'emperor tamarin' to 'emperor tamarins', but 'saguinus imperator' is unlikely to be pluralised to 'sanguinus imperatores'.
