It seems likely some of your members are already aware but lack the resources to prevent or remedy the situation. There is very little validation around the creation of new accounts. The prohibition against anonymous edits appears to be ineffective at reducing spam. You will need to sandbox and explicitly approve new editors; this will require attention.
