- 1987: Modern re-discovery of D'ni[1][2][3][4]
- 1990: Dr. Watson's first expedition to D'ni[1][2][3][4]
- 1992: Last year D'ni is completely uninhabited[1][2][3][4]
- 1997: Formation of the D'ni Restoration Council[1][2][3][4]
- 1998: Cyan expedition to D'ni[1][2][3][4]
- 1999: Major expedition brings needed machinery and tools to City[1][2][3][4]
- 2000: Restoration is started on The Island (Ae’Gura)[1][2][3][4]
- 2001: DRC begins restoration of the first neighborhood[2][3][4]

- Jan: The Uru explorers begin arriving in larger numbers.[2]

- Mar: DRC tests procedures for opening newly approved areas more efficiently.[2]
- Apr: The restoration engineers have addressed hundreds of safety issues this month.[2]
- May: Victor Laxman begins work on the sound recording function of the KI.[2]
- June: a D'ni art gallery discovered mostly intact.[2]
- July: The DRC continues to focus on preparations for the increasing number of Uru explorers.[2]
- Aug: A group of visitors gets a tour of one of the neighborhoods.[2]
- Sept: DRC hosts three contests.[2]
- Oct: DRC makes final preparations for the opening of cavern to the public.[2]
- 2004: DRC loses funding. Cavern closes, but small groups of explorers remain.[4]
