The art direction of most Ages has also been changed. Myst is now lit by a sunset and surrounded by fog. The sun in Stoneship is setting and is much larger than the original. Selenitic is the Age that is the most visually different from the original version. It has a dark blue atmosphere, with more fog and many shooting stars are observable with the naked eye. Changes have also been made to accommodate VR users. Swinging doors have been replaced with sliding doors, the fireplace has been enlarged and interactive items that were at ground level have been raised to waist level. Another notable change is the original live-action videos have been replaced with 3D characters.
