Talk:D'ni time conversion

"April 21, 1991 at 9:54 AM PST"[edit]

I just noticed that the supposed D'ni epoch is given in PST, despite the fact that PDT would have been in effect on April 21. You've also converted it to UTC assuming that the offset is -0800 (PST), rather than -0700 (PDT). I would assume that RAWA actually meant to say PDT when he gave the date, which would mean that the epoch is actually 1991-04-21T16:54:00Z, rather than 1991-04-21T17:54:00Z, as is stated in the article currently. This error presumably also has ramifications for the conversion algorithms further down in the article. --46.208.196.90 12:36, 7 August 2018 (PDT)

This probably also applies to the D'ni New Year dates for 1998 through 2003 (also supposedly given in PST). Pacific Daylight Time was in effect for all of those dates, which would mean they are UTC-0700, not UTC-0800. --46.208.196.90 15:18, 7 August 2018 (PDT)
