Trases was a large mining Age used by the D'ni to mine minerals in the 4330s DE. In 4334 DE, Trases was "halfway destroyed"[1] because of the mistake of a native of the Age running a D'ni machine. Families were forced to evacuate, and detractors of King Loshemanesh used this disaster to argue that D'ni should isolate itself from "outsiders". In a strange case, a baby was supposedly born in the middle of a link from Trases to D'ni. This baby would eventually become known as a prophet called The Watcher.
