Chief of the Elders is the leader of the circle of elders and main advisor to Protector of the Tablet.[1]

Jokingly nicknamed 'Shorty' by Colonel Collins on account of his size, one of Chief of the Elders' gifts is his ability to communicate telepathically with both individuals and groups. He can also understand human speech, and seems to enjoy interacting with the team.

Inspired by the colonel's predilection for nicknames, Shorty dubs Gabe 'He who Commands', and Lukas 'The Lightbringer'; in a particularly moving display of empathy he bestows upon Morgan the title of 'Sharer of Burdens'.
