The Kamkenta was an airborne creature indigenous to the Age of Kahlo, where it apparently lived in hive-like structures. There, it was used in a game in which players rode on its back. A less common (although technically more correct) name for the Kamkenta is Kahmkehnehn - from the D'ni words kahm (what), kehn (is), and ehn (it). The term was coined by a novice explorer; one with very little knowledge of the D'ni language.
