Haran (haran[contested]) was an assistant to Kedri, a Guild Master in the Guild of Legislators near the time of the fall of D'ni. A Legislator himself, he was described as "young" by the Guild Master.
When Haran told Kredri about a dozen new Guild cadets fresh from the academy, Kedri decided to task them with digging through ancient Guild Council records on the archival Age of Gadar in order to help Anna by seeking precedent for outsiders being allowed to use Linking Books.
