D'ni (<d'ni>D'nE</d'ni>) is a series of caverns located deep beneath the New Mexico desert. However, it is common for the term to refer only to the main cavern, where Ae'gura and the primary D'ni city are located. The caverns were settled by the D'ni over 9,600 years ago. In contemporary history, they were discovered twice by humans: first in the 1700s CE by Ti'ana, then again in 1987 CE by John Loftin.
