According to legend, Lemash was the head of the palace under King Shomat. Displeased with his gardens, Shomat ordered Lemash and Grand Master Kenri of the Guild of Writers to write an Age of great beauty for him. When it was discovered that the Age was inhabited, Lemash advised that Shomat destroy the Descriptive Book, but instead Shomat had Kenri alter the Age to eradicate the inhabitants.
