Saavedro's hammer

One of Saavedro's favorite tools is his hammer. It seems that it is made of a rock strapped to a stick, but it is very effective.
Saavedro evidently made two of these hammers. One is in the J'nanin Greenhouse. The other remains on Saavedro's belt throughout the game.

In some of the wrong endings for Myst III: Exile, Saavedro uses it to assault the player, presumably killing him with it.
