Yasefe was an Age mostly covered with trees, and it provided D'ni with most of its wood. The rare Yema wood was only found in Yasefe.
In 5312 DE, a disease broke out in the industrial district of Nehw'eril, close to the D'ni city, and Yasefe was widely believe to be the source. Even though a cure was found quickly by the Guild of Healers, the disease prompted King Me'emen to build a new industrial sector far away from the city, in order to better contain future outbreaks.
