The Nehw'eril District was the main industrial district in the D'ni cavern from its construction in the reign of King Needrah until 5475 DE. It managed the importation and manufacturing of foreign goods. In 5312 DE, a disease broke out in the district, most likely brought in from the Age of Yasefe. Even though healers found a cure quickly, the disease prompted King Me'emen to build a new industrial district far away from the City Proper, as the Nehw'eril District was quite nearby.
Construction on the new Uran District didn't start until 5475. Once it was completed, most of the industry in the Nehw'eril District relocated.
