Ar'tenen (ar'tenen[contested]) was the first great Writer of D'ni's Guild of Writers. He wrote the Age of Yakul, the oldest of the guild's Ages, and site of the ancient D'ni settlement of Derisa. This Age was traditionally used for the ceremony of the korfah v'jah, in which a new masterwork was inducted into the Canon of the Guild of Writers.
