Major Daniel Lev is an MD in the US Air Force Medical Corps with a second degree in psychology. He was sent down to the Cavern with the search and rescue party on Gabe's suggestion that the team might need some counselling following the death of Alex.[1]
Born in the US, Lev grew up in Brisbane, Australia, and holds dual citizenship. He was recalled from the Cavern due to a family emergency, and was replaced by a UN civilian doctor, Vittorio Brunetti.
