Shamathen District

The Shamathen District was the original name of the Kerath'en District, and was named after King Kedri's mother, Shama. It was comissioned by King Kedri as a place where the less wealthy citizens of D'ni could live in Ae'gura, which until then had been reserved for the elite and well-to-do members of society.
