Out of curiosity, I looked up how the name would be written in Japanese. I found 3 possibilities for Kodama: 兒玉, 児玉 or 小玉, and 2 for Ikurō: 郁郎 or 幾郎. --Korovev (talk) 13:46, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Jisho alleges various other possibilities for Kodama (e.g. 古玉, 児珠, 児正, 樹神, 小瑤), as well as for Ikuro (e.g. 幾路, 伊九良, 育朗, 育郎). There's also the remote possibility that his first name might be spelt with hiragana (いくろ(ー/う)), but apparently that's quite rare for men.
- Ultimately without confirmation from Cyan it's impossible to say which is correct.
