Yakul was possibly one of the Five Great Classics, written early in D'ni history by Master Ar'tenen. It was the site of the ancient D'ni settlement of Derisa, and was traditionally used for the ceremony of the korfah v'jah, in which a new masterwork was inducted into the Canon of the Guild of Writers.
