This is the Common Library of D'ni. Here, commoners who lived on Ae'gura, as well as any visitors, could link to Guild-maintained public Ages. This is not the same Library which Atrus and Gehn visited in the Book of Atrus, if we assume that the Book of Atrus is correct in its assertion that Atrus and Gehn visited the Library in the J'taeri District.
It should be noted that access has only been granted to the "basement" of the Library; no information on what is behind the main doors is available.
