Marrim was an inhabitant of the Age of Averone, who, hungry to learn of the broader universe, joined Atrus on his expedition to gather the D'ni. With her friends Irras and Carrad she was a prominent part of Atrus's restoration of the D'ni city and expedition to Terahnee. In return she spent time teaching Averonese children what she had learned. Eventually Marrim married Eedrah of Terahnee and settled on Releeshahn as part of the new D'ni, where she had a daughter, Anna.
