Myst: The Book of D'ni is the third Myst novel, originally published in 1997. It centers around Atrus's efforts to rebuild D'ni after its fall. Those efforts get put on hold, though—and eventually cancelled—when his expedition discovers an ancient link to Terahnee and learns what became of the rest of the Ronay, D'ni's ancestors in The Art.
